What on earth are we doing - ??? -  For Heaven's sake!

Cobourg:

On June 5th conducted the installation service of the new corps officers, Captains Jim & Debbie Sinclair.  It was good to be able to be involved in that Jim and Debbie were young people in Ontario East Division (Belleville area) when we were the divisional youth leaders there a number of years back!

Riverside Church - Toronto - June 28th

We were guests at Riverside Church for the Sunday morning service and were able to present a vocal duet and the message "Bound for the Promised Land" by Woody.  A number from there had been with us in Israel on a tour.

Annual Fellowship of Christian Magicians Convention - July 12 - 19

Woody attended with our Grandson  Trevor.  A great week with members of the Fellowship from around the world.  It was held at the Wesleyan University at Marion, Indiana.

                                                                           Del Wilson FCM President

Georgetown:

With Major Renee Clarke.  Sharon spoke in the Sunday morning worship time.  The afternoon was to be a special presentation in the park through Gospel Illusions, but due to a large electrical storm, it has had to be postponed.  It was good to share fellowship with Renee and her husband.

Whitby:

Three weeks of VBS as well as one Sunday morning and evening meeting.  What an exciting time!

Cornwall:

Renewal of Marriage Vows for Rusty & David LaMoy (25 Years); Rusty's parents, Russell & Dolores Shaw (50 Years)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         We were pleased to conduct two Sundays of meetings at the corps at the request of Divisional Headqarters, before new leaders, Oren & Glenda Cole came to take leadership.  God's blessing was evident.

Smiths Falls:

Rally Day Week-end with Majors Brian & Sue Fuller.  (The Fullers were stationed in our division when we were the divisional leaders in Bermuda.)    Wow ~ What a fantastic week-end  it was and very well planned!

"Our people are still talking about the number in attendance and the number of people who made a commitment on the Saturday and on Sunday.  We have not seen so many in a long time.  Very exciting!  The children are still talking about your magic shows, not just the little ones but also some of the few teens that we have, are still saying how much fun they had...know that you and your ministry are prayed for, and we look forward to having you again."                                                       Symond Rombough, YPSM

Goderich:

Conducted Sunday morning Rally Day (Captains Tim & Krista Andrews) presenting a message with illusions.  A lot of new families in attendance. After a pot luck luncheon, a full show was presented. Capt Krista Andrews is an "adopted niece of ours" since birth so it was a special connection there - introduced as Uncle Woody and Aunt Sharon!  We were quite impressed with the excellent leadership that these officers are giving and are now in their 5th year.

"Woody & Shar ~ Magic with a Flair" brings the concept of entertainment and God's Spirit together, keeping the interest of children while sharing a powerful message of God's love to the young and the young at heart."   Captain Krista Andrews

St Catharines:

A joy to be at St Catharines Kid's Club rally - Maj Valerie Hennessy made the arrangements.  Val had come to the Lord and the Army through working at Roblin Lake when we first were the divisional youth leaders in the Ontario East Division.  Valerie and Mike (her husband) are "kids of ours."  The corps officers are Captain Dena & Major Kent Hepditch, wonderful young people in Newfoundland East Division when we were stationed there.

"Thank you for your wonderful magic performance Tuesday evening.  As I looked around the room during your various presentations I noted that everyone young and old alike were captivated and watching to see what your next trick would be.  Added to that is the fact that with your presentation you have included helpful lessons on life and the Christian message and Gospel of hope and salvation.  I would recommend "Woody & Shar ~ Magic with a Flair" to anyone planning a party or event in which they are looking for someone to entertain with a message.  I have continued to hear positive messages from those who were in attendance Tuesday night.  What a wonderful way to kick off our outreach program."         Major Valerie Hennessy
